This week we have planted seeds and watched them germinate.
We used our 'Sow and Grow' pack to look at how we can grow our own food! We looked at cress, spinach and pea seeds under a magnifying glass before sowing them in small pots. We watered them and put them outside in the warmth. Unfortunately some of them got very wet in the rain but they have all now germinated.
We were amazed at how quickly this happened. We look forward to watching them grow. We have noticed that the smallest seed seem to grow the fastest! The cress has already grown and tastes amazing!!
