This week we have been focusing on some of the computing skills that we cover in Year 1.

We have been looking at simple algorithms, spotting mistakes in simple programs, using cameras and sound recorders and considering some of the benefits of using technology.

We have had great fun programming beebots and using mats to give directional instructions. Some of us even had to move a beebot across a mat in the order of the days of the week!! We have been using cameras and sound recorders all week in our maths and English too. 

We have used a number of apps where we have given simple instructions to complete a task.

We have also used the internet to research facts about whales - it would have been much more difficult to do this without technology!
