Today some of our KS2 children gave up their Saturday to represent Gillibrand in a Cross Country competition against other local schools at Astley Park. Our children showed lots of school values during this event, none-more-so than ‘pride in our school’, but also ‘confidence and self-belief’, to compete against their peers and ‘perseverance’, when we found it quite challenging.
Well done to all who took part, you were brilliant! Thank you to all the parents who came and supported and the staff who gave up their Saturday to support the children.
