Today, Year 3 and 4 have had an amazing day learning all about volcanoes in a workshop delivered by One Day. In our Geography, we have recently started our new topic investigating volcanoes and why they erupt and in the workshop we consolidated learning and also learnt new facts!

Everyone had so much fun! We learnt a rap about the Earth's layers, created freeze frames about the different types of volcanoes and looked at pictures of different volcanoes and the damage they cause. We also talked about earthquakes and learnt that tectonic plates can cause natural disasters such as earthquakes, tsumanis and volcanoes to erupt.
