Today Year 6 visited the Buddhist Temple and Year 5 visited the Hindu Temple as part of their RE learning. The children were all very respectful when they entered the different places of worship and when they asked questions. Both classes have never been to either a Hindu or Buddhist temple and were very much amazed at what they saw. The art work in the Hindu temple is just so inspiring and the ornate glass windows. In the Buddhist temple the children participated in the meditation and really enjoyed just looking at all the different offerings made to Buddha and why.
Well done to all the children for showing pride in our school.
