Year 5 and 6 held a workshop for parents to celebrate the end of Mental Health and Well-Being week.  The workkshop was split into three zones that all parents and children used to support their well-being. Mrs Dunne gave a yoga masterclass, using breathing techniques and stretches to being calmness and clarity. Mr Thomas made herbal teas with healing properties and Year 6 prefects served carrots and hummus, whilst parents and children sipped their tea whilst listening to calming music and completing some mindfulness colouring, then Miss Watson did a guided walk of the school grounds to support well-being through fresh air and exercise. We hope some of the children in the class will use the techniques taught when the next feel their well-being suffer.
