Today we have had a visit from the poet Matt Goodfellow. The children in KS1 and 2 took part in an assembly where he read lots of his poems out loud and made us laugh out loud at times! Then Matt worked with all classes in KS2 where the children took part in a workshop writing their own poem. The children really enjoyed listening to his fantastic poems and writing their own imaginative poem! Some children even bought one of his books and had them signed by him. Don’t worry if you haven’t they can be bought from local bookshops or online.
