This year we have taken part in the 'CHIP in Bloom' competition in which we have competed against other schools in Chorley in several categories including best plant specimen in a pot, best potatoes and best bowl of fruit. We also competed in several art and design categories including garden design and drawings of flowers.
We were up against some tough competition and we are excited to announce winners in several categories including:
1st for our strawberries
1st for our broad beans
3rd for both our plant in a pot and 3rd for our potatoes.
Also: Chloe in Reception won a 3rd for her painting. India in Year 1 won a 1st for her sketch. Ella R. in Year 2 won a 1st for her garden design and Lewis won a 3rd for his garden design. Eliesters in Year 4 won a 2nd for his drawing of a flower.
We are delighted all our hard work has been rewarded. Thank you to gardening club and Reception for all your help with planting, weeding and watering.
