On Friday we had some visitors who came to our school to sing and also tell us about The Last Choir Singing Competition.
The Last Choir Singing is a competition which all primary schools in Lancashire can enter. First children will sing in regional heats then if they get through they will go to the county finals where the first prize winner will receive £1000 to buy music equipment for their school. Other prizes will also be awarded.
At Gillibrand we are always looking at different activities and opportunities for our children to take part in.
Our school choir will be entering the competition next year and we look forward to taking part in this exciting opportunity.
