On Wednesday 15th March KS2 had their Musical Afternoon for parents to come and see their progress in Music.
All children played a musical instrument and also joined in with singing and dancing.
Leopards played Ukulele, Tiger and Cheetahs played Recorder and Jaguars played Saxophone.
Here are some of the comments made by parents:
The Musical opportunities have been fantastic at Gillibrand. Our son loves all the singing and playing saxophone.
Both our daughters have really enjoyed learning musical instruments in school. It has given them lots of joy and has been great for confidence building. Many thanks for all your hard work. The McNulty Family.
Isabelle is passionate about Music. She loves playing the piano and saxophone. She is so lucky to go to a school which incourages the playing of Music.
Faith absolutely loves music and looks forward to every lesson. She works hard at home to find new music to learn.
Alex loves listening to music, playing instruments and singing to music. I thought the musical assemblies were absolutely fantastic. So much effort from the pupils and staff so a great credit to you all. Brilliant show.
Very emotional. Well done Miss Holt you did a good job teaching all the different songs and instruments to all the children.
