On Tuesday the 3rd March 2015 Gillibrand Choir went on tour singing at the 19th Young Voices concert. We had a choir of 42 students taking part this year and joined 7,000 other children at the Phones 4U Arena in Manchester.

After arriving at the arena, we rehearsed all afternoon  singing and dancing together, led by the wonderful conductor, David Lawrence!  The concert for parents started at 7pm.

The children sang their hearts out all day. I was so proud of my choir. They have worked so hard since September to make it a memorable night for everybody involved.  The children were absolutely fantastic and their behaviour, their attitude and enthusiasm were a credit to our school. A big well done to you all.

Well done to Miss Holt and Mrs Clayton for their performances in the Teachers Choir.

A big thank you to Mrs Sparks who kindly made a Young Voices cake for the children to enjoy at school. "It was very yummy!"

On behalf of the children, thank you to Miss Holt who prepared the children so well and organised the trip.  Also thank you to Ms Bryson, Mrs Clayton, Mrs Houghton and Mrs Martin who accompanied the children.
