On Monday 3rd February the school choir took part in the 2014 Young Voices event at the Phones 4U Arena in Manchester.  After arriving at the arena, we rehearsed all afternoon as part of 8,000 children singing and dancing together, led by the wonderful conductor, David Lawrence!  The concert for parents started at 7pm.  As well as singing a wide variety of songs together the children sang with Stacey Solomon, Wayne Ellington and Keith Semple.  They showed off their dance moves directed by Urban Strides.  They literally sang their hearts out for over two hours! We then had to combat the crowds of children and parents around the arena to find our coach.  It was a very quiet journey home!  The children were absolutely fantastic.  They were a credit to the school in their behaviour, their attitude and enthusiasm.

On behalf of the children, thank you to Miss Holt who prepared the childern so well and organised the trip.  Also thank you to Ms Bryson, Mrs Houghton and Mrs Martin who accompanied the children.
