This term, Mrs Smith from Southlands High School, will be working with Year 6 teaching them how to play rounders and cricket. Today, the children were introduced to the sports and had the opportunity to learn some important skills that will be useful when they are playing the games.
We learned how to catch high and low balls correctly (nest and basket) and how to bowl. We are looking forward to developing our striking and fielding skills over the next couple of weeks and setting up some games!
