We have had a fantastic 3 days celebrating the Queen’s 90th Birthday. In history we have looked at the Queen’s family tree and found out facts about the Queen, we also placed the main events of her life on a time-line. On Thursday we designed our own coins and stamps to commemorate the Queen’s birthday and we completed the sponsored event.
On Friday we had a wonderful picnic outside, it was fantastic to see so many parents enjoying the celebration with us. Unfortunately we had to head inside for our dancing session, but it was great to watch the whole school doing all the different dances.
To the end the day we watched a live stream from Windsor Castle, we learnt about the Queen’s life and what she does from day to day. Everyone in Year 3 would like to wish the Queen a very Happy Birthday!
