Easter Food from Farm to Fork at Tesco

This week we had a very exciting visit from Tesco.

They told us about the history of hot cross buns and how they are made. We 'wowed' them with how much we knew about Easter. We then got to try a hot cross bun. They were delicious!

We also talked about the symbolism of Easter eggs and how they came about. They are not only a symbol of new life but also Jesus breaking out of the tomb on Easter Sunday. We went outside to take part in an Easter egg hunt before coming back to class to discover who had won the 'decorate an egg' competition that our visitors from Tesco had organised for us.

We had lots of fun and would like to Steph and Adam from Tesco for coming to visit and bring so much lovely Easter food!
