Year 5 have had a fun filled week. They have been involved in a wide range of activities throughout the week, including:
A book scavenger hunt
Reading with parents on Bedtime Story Day
Linking maths to reading by creating graphs about the frequency of letters on the page of a book
Creating their own book cover
Finally, on Friday, lots of children brought in their potato character creations. These are fantastic. We had a range of characters including Elmer, James and the Giant Peach, Rapunzel, Dinosaur Roar and Winnie the Pooh.
The winner will be chosen and announced next week. Watch this space!!
