Our Acorn room children got to write letters to Father Christmas this week. The next day we walked to the Post Office to post our letters!
A visit from the Iman
Today Year 5 had a visit form the Iman to talk about angels as they continue to develop their understanding of the Islamic religion whilst showing mutual respect and tolerance for other religions.
Pupils shine at Cheerleading Festival
We are so proud of our 7 superstar cheerleaders who today took part in a Cheerleading festival today. The children have shown so much confidence and self-belief today we couldn't be prouder! It was a fantastic morning full of fun and laughter whilst nurturing new passions and interests. Mrs Clark and Miss Lacey also had a great time developing their own confidence and self-belief. On the return , pupils visited the cenotaph to found the wreath our year 3 and 5 pupils laid on Remembrance day. Take a look here at more photos.

Celebrating : A Special Visit from Year 6’s Sulayman!
The reception children learned all about celebrations from different cultures in our community, starting with Eid!
Rocks and Soils in Year 3
Year 3 have started a unit learning about rocks and soils.
Dinosaur Visit
Last week Reception Class and Acorn Class had a visitor from Mason the Dinasaur.
Just another Harvest Festival!
What a spectacular Harvest celebration we held this year at church. Pupils from all classes performed and Mrs Barnes led the most beautiful singing using Makaton Sign Language showing our fully inclusive values and ethos. Oscar in Year 6 showcased his skills as our computing ambassador taking charge of the IT and music whilst we mustn't forget Miss Watson who organised the whole event including the large number of volunteer walkers who helped escort all 200 children to church! As always yhe pupils demonstrated pride in our school along with confidence and self-belief. Click her for lots of photos from the event...
