This half term Mrs Clark is working with a small group of year 5 and 6 children to explore their passions and interests through journalism. The pupils are a newly formed group who are working collaboratively to make an online newspaper. Working together and developing their skill if democracy pupils have decided to call the newspaper The Gillibrand Seasons. They news paper will include interviews, celebrations of success, links to the local community as well as a section entitled ‘Meet the Staff’. Pupils are working as four small teams to explore investigative journalism, photo journalism and print journalism. We are hoping to launch Gillibrand Seasons by the end of next half term.
