This term we have continued to promote our school vision and values throughout school and our curriculum.

We celebrated 'Dream a Dream Day' by encouraging pupils to aspire and dream about travelling to somewhere in the world they would really like to see.  Pupils enjoyed dressing up to represent a country they wished to travel to and participated in a whole school cat walk to show off their costumes.  During the day, all year groups took part in a variety of tasks, learning about different destinations around the world to allow them to explore different parts of the world which they may have never heard of.

This also helped the children develop their locational knowledge skills as they were using maps and atlases to find countries in the world. Pupils were then encouraged to apply their new geographical knowledge and dream of travelling to a written piece of work appropriate to their year group expectations.
