To further develop our children’s love of reading, we visited our local library. We had a fantastic time, listening to stories and poems, taking part in a scavenger hunt and exploring the exciting range of books available at the library.
Eleven children brought their own library cards, whilst a further fifteen children became new members of the library during the visit. This meant that almost all the children in year 5 were able to choose books to borrow from the library during this visit.
