Today we have had an exciting and fun visitor from Junior Stem who came in and worked with KS2 children to build and program their own Lego creation. Year 3 and 4 created a fairground ride and Year 5 and 6 created a clapping monkey. First of all, the children had to use their design technology skills to follow instructions and build their creation using lego. Then they had to use coding skills to program it using algorithms so that it moved in a specific way.
