This half term, KS2 have been learning about global warming and sustainability. We had a visit on Friday from a Greenpeace speaker called Dr Hilary Pinto who spoke to all classes about the effects of global warming. She discussed with the children the importance of recycling as plastic pollution is damaging the world in which we live. The children thoroughly enjoyed this talk and learnt lots of interesting facts about what we are doing to the world and how they can help slow down global warming.
