During this time of uncertainty, one of the best things you can do, as a parent/carer, is to establish a clear routine. Daily reading needs to be a key part of your child daily structure. Not only does it extend, develop and challenge your child's learning and understanding, it develops creativity, contributes to well being and gives you time, as a parent/carer, to connect with your child and enjoy a little bit of escapism together.

Whilst, as a school, we have sent home additional reading books and English activities (via Seesaw and the class blogs), we need to look at alternatives to sustain enthusiasm for reading.
