This week, Year Five and Year Six were mountaineers for the day. This was a really exciting start to our geography topic. The pupils enjoyed getting into the expedition mindset and used a range of practical objects to explore a mountain setting. It's as if we were really there!
To help us get into the spirit of becoming a mountaineer, we brought into school items we would need to help us on our expedition to climb a mountain. We found out we would need lots of water to keep us hydrated and suitable clothes for the weather. In DT we also looked at different tent structures which will help us design our own tents in DT.
