What an amazing morning we had on Thursday 5th December where pupils, parents and governors participated in a range of Roman inspired activities including making volcanoes (Pompeii), designing shields, making symmetrical mosaics and painting clay  amphitheaters as well as exploring our new interactive 'Now, Press, Play'.   In addition, Year 6 amazed us with their beautiful singing and amazing rapping.

It was an incredibly successful morning proven by some of our parent comments:

‘The interactive part was great to see the children joining in and all of the displays were brilliant!’

‘Just a great morning, great to join in.’

‘All the children’s participation, the headphones were amazing – a really good way of learning!’

‘All the pupils were able to explain what they were doing.  They also seemed to be enjoying the opportunity to explain what they know.’

‘The children’s enthusiasm and parent involvement’

‘Interacting with my child and seeing how much they have learnt about the Romans’

‘I liked the singing and the headphone activity. It was very interactive.’

‘The morning had a buzz about it. Well done for all the hard work.’

Thank you to all who attended.
