Today Year 3 went to the Cenotaph in Astley Park for Remembrance Day. As the children waited for the service to start they looked at the names on the wall of the soldiers that lost their lives.
Several ex-service men approached the children to talk about their medals and where they were stationed. The children asked questions and their behaviour throughout was exemplary.
Well done to all the children in Year 3 and a big thank you to the volunteers that helped walk the children to the park.
