On Tuesday Year 6 walked to Astley Hall using their map reading skills that they had learned in Geography. They participated in a workshop where they learned about The Plague. Then looked at the Plague Doctor and the different equipment he may have used before visiting the garden and identifying the different herbs that were used to make a posey to keep the bad smells away. In the afternoon, the children enjoyed exploring the park to create sketch maps before completing a final draft back at school.
