On Friday 5th July, the whole of Key Stage 2 visited Martin Mere. Each of the classes took part in a fun science activity, explored the waterfowl gardens and wild walk area and of course had lots of fun on the amazing adventure play area. Year 3 investigated the different species of plants through identification and classification whilst Year 4 explored what happens to water and how it affects different surfaces in different ways. In upper Key Stage 2, Year 5 enjoyed pond dipping for different creatures before analysing and exploring how they live together in their eco-system. Finally, Year 6, enjoyed hunting for bugs in the woodland areas and exploring and suggesting adaptations for different habitats.
