Valentine Serrano, who lives and works in the Reunion Islands, ( near Madagascar!) has spent over a week at our school.
Valentine is the "Directrice de l'école élémentaire André Hoarau" ( the headteacher at André Hoarau School) and has been over here learning more about the English school system.
She has had a great time and taken away some ideas that she hopes to put in practice back in the Reunion Islands.
Valentine was very impressed with our school and our children and their attitudes to learning. She also taught the children a little French and spoke about her school and the similarities and differences.
