The NSPCC is an organisation that helps with prevention of neglect and works together to help keep children safe. Pupils from both year 5 and 6 took part in workshops that highlighted the different forms of abuse and talked about how we protect ourselves and others. They also discussed people they could turn to if they needed to talk and the role of childline.

The NSPCC believe that children have the right to:

  • speak out and be heard
  • be safe
  • get help when they need it

Did you know that 1 to 20 children under the age of 11 suffer from some form of neglect?
