Today was a very exciting time for all the Reception children and Year One children, as they spent the day in their new classrooms, meeting some of their new teachers and teaching assistants.
The children in Year 1 know all about our new Deputy Headteacher, Mrs Davenport, who unfortunately could not be here today. She is very much looking forward to being the Year 2 class teacher and meeting them all in September, or sooner if she can!
The children in reception class had a great time with their new teacher, Mrs Broadbent, and had a fun-filled day in the year 1 classroom finding out what year 1 is all about.
All the children enjoyed a whole day of activities preparing themselves for September and their new class and left a positive impression on the staff. Well done to all the children.
