KS2 children took part in Mile Monday and found, whilst walking, that there had been an archaeological dig at the weekend.
A letter had been sent to Ms Bryson informing her that a team of archaeologists had discovered an unsual mass under the soil on our school grounds so they had set up an excavation site!
The childen were allowed to carefully examine the objects found. Since the discovery we have found out that the artefacts are from the Stone Age!
KS2 children are now all excited to learn more about Stone Age life!
