Yr5 and Yr6 children visited Borwick Hall Outdoor Adventure Centre for an action-packed few days full of thrills and spills. The pupils take part in a number of physically and mentally gruelling activities. These include team building activities, caving, vertical climbing, orienteering and the climbing wall.

The centre is situated in picturesque Carnforth on the edge of the Lake District and provides an ideal setting for the residential trip. The children were accompanied by three brave members of staff - Miss Baker, Miss Carter and Mrs Swinscoe! Despite the usual changeable weather (sun, wind and rain ) our children tackled and beat the elements to overcome any problem put in front of them - even making their own beds!

Once again the staff at Borwick  commented on the enthusiasm and determination of our children and stated that they are a real credit to the school. These days away offer many challenges, but our children always respond in the most positive way and the govenors are very grateful to the members of staff who accompany them; as without their committment, these valuable experiences could not be offered to our children.
