On Thursday 3rd April KS2 children held a Musical Afternoon for their parents. The children sang, danced and played their instruments.
Here is some feedback we received from our parents.
"Dale and Stacey really enjoy music and choir. I'm always asked to listen to what that they have learnt and also help them with their music practice. My dad also plays Saxophone (their grandad) and when they visit he also helps them."
"My daughter enjoys choir and learning new instruments and will often share things she has learnt at school. Music always makes her smile. Brilliant!" :)
"My children LOVE music. They like singing and playing there instruments. They are always putting shows on for me at home."
"Lovely show! Really nice to see the children so enthusiastic over their music." C.Chandler
"I think being part of a recorder club and choir has really helped Emily settle into Gillibrand. She is always talking about singing and recorder." Eddie said "he felt really "proud" of school when he heard the children sing."
"Grace really loves her time in the choir and learning music. She would love to do more. Thankyou for making her like music." C.Gregory
"Evie loves music and singing, writing words to songs on the PC. Music makes the 'School' go round."
"Elliot has loved singing in the choir and the Young Voices was an experience he will always remember. A great confidence booster. Thank you."
