To kickstart the terms topic; 'The Great Fire of London', children in Year 1 and Year 2 will be virtually meeting author Kate Cunningham who has written a fantastic book called 'Vlad, and The Great Fire of London'. The books tells the story from the perspective a flea called Vlad as they escape the roaring fire through the streets of London. The children will be watch a role-play retelling of the story and also have a Q and A with Kate, asking her about Vlad and her career as a author.
