As one of our final ideas from the school council, we would like to hold a book and bake sale for the summer term. The idea is that children can donate one or more books to school, and so can parents, and the books will be sold along with baked goods. This will be a fun and fantastic way to raise money as children will be encouraged to clear out any old books at home, buy new ones in school, AND there is cake involved!
The Book and Bake Sale will take place on Friday 12th July in the school hall between 2pm and 3.30pm (which will give parents the opportunity to pop in and buy cake as well).
- Monday 8th July - children will be able to come to school in non-uniform, in exchange for the donation of a book.
- Friday 12th July - children and parents to send in any donations of baked goods ready for the sale in the afternoon
All books and cakes will be priced from 50p - £1.50. The money raised from the book and bake sale will go towards the support of trips and visits and to help with all the fun activities that happen within our school. Any books that are not sold in school will be donated to the local charity shops.
Please can be mindful that cakes must not contain nuts due to allergies within school.
