Sun Safety
It's going to be a very hot week.
Please remember to send your children to school with water, a hat and sun cream please.
We want all our children to stay safe in the sun.
Thank you for your support.
KS2 Sports Day
Thank you to all the parents, carers, grandparents and friends who supported the KS2 children today.
It was a great morning, and the sun shone.
The winning team was the Red Team, but only just!
Well done to all the children who took part.

Headteacher's Award
Well done Alissa!
You have a super attitude to learning and always make me smile.
French Days
Well done to all of the KS2 children and staff.
I was very impressed with all the amazing learning during the French Days, and I especially enjoyed listening to them all singing Frere Jacques in a round, accompanied by a range of percussion instruments.
Well done.
Mile Track
Our new daily mile track was installed over the holiday and the Year 1 and Year 2 children couldn't wait to use it on Friday!
Nine laps of the track equals one mile.
I am sure it will be of great benefit to the whole school, especially in the winter months, when we will all still be able to…
Headteacher's Award
Well done to Jamie!
You are a superstar and make me very proud with your positive attitude.
Sun Safety
Don’t forget to send your children to school with water and a hat if possible and also slap on lots of sun cream too. It’s going to be warm and sunny all week according to my weather app!
Well done Year 6!
Well done to all the amazing Year 6 children who have worked so hard all week. They deserved their party today!
I am so proud of you all.
Story Telling
Thank you to Macie, Alissa, Noah and Oliver for sharing a dinosaur story with me today in the sunshine!
We loved sitting on the logs inside the willow dome!
Headteacher's Award
Well done to all 17 members of the choir, who were all awarded my Headteacher's Award this week.
They represented the school so well at the Mayor's Charity Concert on Thursday night at the town hall.
I am very proud of you all.
Year 6 SATS
Our Year 6 children have worked very hard preparing for their SATS.
I am very proud of them all as they are all amazing children and have achieved great things in their time at Gillibrand.
