In year 4 this week we have had a focus on poetry.
The children looked at a Kenning poem. Yesterday they wrote their own poem about the Maya which is our current history topic.
Then today the children performed their poems in groups or to the rest of the class using the correct intonation, tone and volume.
I loved reading and listening to all the different ideas and poems the children created. Well done.
