As part of out computing curriculum, we have been creating algorithms. An algorithm is a set of commands that produce an outcome. We used ourselves (as robots), a computer program and the Bee Bots to input commands to enable an action. We had to direct the mouse to the cheese, the human robots to a safe zone and the Bee Bot to an end destination.
The children worked extremely hard and had an enjoyable time being in charge of action!
