This week in Year 2 the children were challenged to create their own 3D Christmas tree. They followed a design criteria, making sure that their design was stable and strong. The children communicated and developed their ideas through a variety of ways such as talking, drawing and making templates. They selected the tools and equipment that they needed to create their tree and they evaluated their ideas against the design criteria.
The children have all worked very hard to create some unique designs and they have thoroughly enjoyed being creative with their ideas.
Our trees are now sitting proudly in class in our Christmas Tree Forest, with our Christmas elf watching over them!
