Anti-bullying week in Year 2

This week we have studied what it means to be 'All Different, All Equal'.

As a whole class, we discussed how differences can be used to bully other people and we agreed how wonderful it is that we are all different and we should respect our differences and celebrate them.

We shared in circle time activities to find out how to be a good friend and support each other, each making a hand print with five ways to be a good friend. We also created our own Anti Bullying posters in class as part of a whole school challenge.

Thinking about the launch of Toot Toot, everyone made a link with the names of the people they would talk to if they were concerned about bullying. We joined our links together to keep in class as a reminder of our 'Chain of Support'.

We have learnt a great deal this week and now feel skilled at supporting one another.
