This half term we completed two walks in our local community. These were to the north-west and south-west of our school. Following the route on a map, we walked, observed the area and answered questions on our quiz sheets. During the second of our community walks, we noticed many differences. The first route was much more built up with many houses and buildings. This was completely different to our second route with the majority of it being a woodland area. Some of the children had never even been into Copper Work Woods before and were very excited. We followed the route on our maps looking at and comparing the human and physical features from our first route.
