World Book Week has been a fantastic experience for Year 2 this year.
We started it off on Monday with our part of the whole school story, which was passed from class to class to add to it. When it reached Year Six they had the task of editing it. The finished version was read out to the children by Year Six during Friday's assembly and can be viewed in the main part of the website.
As part of our celebration of world book week we looked at the story Bob's Best Ever Friend. We wrote all about Bob's adventures and designed a new best ever friend for him.
On Thursday we came to school dressed in our pyjamas and brought our favourite book to read. I'm not sure if this was a good idea as it made most of the teachers very sleepy indeed!
