Year 3 Book Week
This week we have been celebrating World Book Week. We have completed activities in class including designing our own book covers and activities related to Charlie and The Chocolate Factory; our current Book Games book. Today has been World Book Day and to celebrate children came to school in their pyjamas and onesies on Bedtime Story Day! Children were also given the opportunity to donate books and buy books in the book sale our School Council organised. In class , we have made our own 'World Book Week Book', which includes a story or character description from each member of the class. The book will stay in class so children can read each other’s writing.
Finally, we invited family members in to read with groups of children this afternoon. The children were very excited to see their family and really enjoyed reading together. A big thankyou to all parents and relatives who gave up their time to come into school. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!
