Year 5 began their learning journey around the world today, finding out about Christmas traditions in different countries.
First of all they visited Germany. They tried some Stollen and German chocolates. They also made a Christmas star decoration.
In the afternoon they paid a visit to France ( Year 4) where they made a Christmas tree decoration, explaining the different French traditions. They also created a flip book about the nativity.
The children are now looking forward to visiting China and Mexico and finding out about their Christmas traditions.
